At this time of year most shops are finishing up and closing down for a much needed holiday. At Primal we dont know the meaning of taking holidays, in fact we just put the final touches on two of the coolest cars of 2013..
First off this red s15 came in looking a bit worse for wear, a well worn example of a JDM import sporting an aero kit.
What we did :-
– Cut and modified rear guards for maximum clearance
– Garage Mak Front 40mm guards
– Gararge Mak Rear 55mm guards
– Rocket Dancer boot wing
– Supermade roof wing
– AME TM02 Tracers 18×10 +18, 18×10.5 +22 sporting 285/35/18
– Cusco engine mounts
– NPC clutch
– Holfords Brake Master
– Braided hose kit for the turbo
Secondly we finished off Matts S14.
– Full revert back to stock car to pass rwc
– Ganador style mirrors
– Navan Front bar
– S14 Luxury side skirts
– JDM Rear Bar
– JDM Rear Lights
– Origin Labs boot wing
– Lowered the car 3″ all round
– 17″ Mesh wheels all round
2014 is looking to be another big year for the workshop..We’ve already started working on a R33 Drift car getting it ready for the 2014 season..
Its December and alots happened over the past 12 months in and out of the workshop.
Our new club (Primal mc which we founded with a group of mates) has hosted some of the best grass roots drift days victoria has ever seen. Bringing back what drifting has lost touch of over the last 5 years, a non stand off friendly atmosphere.
Our track car is finally working the way it should be lasting 2 drift days with only minor maintenance needed.
Neil competed in this years Honda Nationals in his EG Civic at winton, putting down a PB of 1:48 sec.
Further updates to come in the following weeks on the builds that are currently in progress down at the garage…..
We would like to say Happy New Year to all and would like to let everyone know that from 2013 we are moving to our own domain
From now on we will be only updating the new site, So check it out!
We also have a new email address, for all sales enquiries.
Just a quick sneak peek of our recent roadtrip down to tassie that we made for a baskerville practice day.
I should have part 1 of the trips photos ready to post shortly.
This weekend Billy brought down his new 86 so i could give him a hand installing his new TRD spoiler.
This also gave me a great reason to try out my new lens.
As you can see, the spoiler definitely adds much needed shape to the rear of the car.
I really love using this lens.
Hopefully not too long and we should have some photos of this dropped and fitted with some nice wheels.
As Admin/Events Coordinator for Hardtuned.net(Victoria) Neil was asked to organise the Victorian part of a nation wide Hard Tuned Meet and Greet on Sunday 15th July. So at 4pm we headed down to Docklands to see what Melbourne had on offer.
As expected, a shit load of people turned up for the meet, and the cars just kept on coming.
Everything from modded R35 GTR’s
Featuring quiet a few tasty mods, including these perfect sized Forge Wheels.
Shaun and Jared’s Aristo and Sileighty respectively.
Jareds Sileighty sitting nice on his new SSR wheels
This Z was by far the best sounding car on the day
It was great to see the Melbourne car scene out in force, with over 250 cars turning up for the meet.
Overall a great meet with an eclectic array of cars on display.
A few of us decided to cruise down to Garage Cafe for a meet up and some good food. Unfortunately it was MX5 night, so there was no room for our cars inside.
Not your usual Camry
With no tripod, i was struggling to get any decent photos of our cars, i did however get a couple of good shots of this Stanceworks Camry. Love it or hate it, it certainly has a presence.
